‘Only thing missing was the fans’ – OK

COLERAINE TV spoke with boss Oran Kearney after the Bannsiders made it six successive wins in the Danske Bank Premiership…

A late winner from Stephen Lowry would edge the fixture towards the home side after Curtis Allen cancelled out Jamie McGonigle’s first-half strike.

Kearney remarked that the only thing missing was the home support after Lowry’s 88th minute header into the Railway End but highlighted ‘a big shift’ from his players this week as they recorded wins against Dungannon Swifts, Larne and Crusaders.

The manager was also pleased with his side’s reaction to going a goal behind and believes the recent experiences from the last few years was the catalyst for the response.

Kearney doesn’t believe he will dip into the transfer market which closes this evening and looks ahead to Tuesday night’s game against Cliftonville.
