CONOR Loughrey spoke to Coleraine TV after the Bannsiders reached the sixth-round of the Clearer Water Irish Cup…

A second-half quartet of goals from Mark Connolly, Will Patching, James Akintunde and Joel Cooper sealed the deal for the hosts against Crusaders on a chilly evening at The Showgrounds.

The assistant coach started the interview by reflecting on the success and how Coleraine scored at a good time following Brendan Hamilton’s dismissal for two yellow cards.

Loughrey added how it was great to see goals coming from all areas of the pitch and acknowledged how the Bannsiders are trying to get several players up to speed.

He further thanked the supporters who descended on the Ballycastle Road for their backing amid the freezing conditions.
