Operations Manager Vacancy

COLERAINE FC is on the lookout for a new operations manager at the club…

The full-time position requires the successful candidate to work five days a week (including Saturday) with Sunday off, as well as either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

The pay is £22,000 per year plus bonuses.

The key duties of the role are as follows:

  1. Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
  2. Support the company in production planning and making sure the business is adequately resourced.
  3. Identifying any skills gaps in the organisation and undertaking a recruitment programme to support this.
  4. Training of staff and managers to ensure that everyone is performing adequately in their role.
  5. Providing a leadership support function and motivating staff to achieve production goals.
  6. Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process.
  7. Acting as a liaison to board of directors to keep them up to date with daily matters
  8. Implementation of any new policies and procedures.
  9. Introducing and managing in-house IT systems ensuring that they are fit for purpose.

  5. Team working – fostering an environment of teamwork to ensure that all products are delivered on time and company goals are met.
  6. Initiative – The ability to work alone and take a lead when hurdles arise or when tasks require completion.
  7. Planning – staying ahead of the game and ensuring that plans for the future are clearly labelled out for everyone to follow.
  8. Problem Solving – adapting to the ever changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges.
