‘Oran’s plans were a selling point for me’

CONOR McKendry insists he can’t wait to get started after signing a three-year contract with the club…

The winger became Oran Kearney’s third arrival of the summer after sealing a switch from Larne.

McKendry reflected that the club’s plans both on and off the pitch were an easy sell for him and that his mind was made up after meeting with Kearney.

The former Ipswich Town trainee remarked that he wants to weigh in with goals and assists before he took part in his first training session this evening.

Kearney stressed that they made it clear McKendry was their number one option after realising that Ben Doherty would be heading in the opposite direction.
