DEAN Shiels labelled his side’s performance as “good” after the Bannsiders played out a goalless draw against Cliftonville at The Showgrounds…

On a crisp evening on the Ballycastle Road, Shiels’ men had the majority of the chances but failed to find a way past David Odumosu in the Cliftonville net.

Coleraine changed the shape of their team for the contest and Shiels says he was pleased with what he saw after only having one day to work on it, with Cliftonville failing to register a meaningful attempt on goal.

Shiels commented on an impressive debut for Charles Dunne and the January transfer window on a whole after the arrivals of Levi Ives, Patrick Burns, Ronan Doherty and Declan McManus.
