RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after the Bannsiders defeated Crusaders at The Showgrounds…

After falling behind to Fraser Bryden’s opener, Coleraine produced a clinical second-half performance as Joel Cooper’s hat-trick was added to efforts from Matthew Shevlin and Mark Connolly.

Higgins stated that he was delighted with the result but conceded that they gave up too many chances in the opening 45 minutes.

He voiced his pleasure at the manner of the goals his side scored and paid a special mention to Ryan Schofield for his penalty save when the game was level at 1-1.
