THE opening month of the season has been navigated by Ruaidhri Higgins’ men and it’s now up to you to vote for your August Player of the Month…
The Bannsiders started their Sports Direct Premiership campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Larne, before earning a point away at Cliftonville in a scoreless draw.
Next up was a 2-0 home success against Dungannon Swifts as Declan McManus and Jamie Glackin got on the scoresheet, with Matthew Shevlin then being the hero a few days later as the Stripes edged out Glenavon at Mourneview Park.
With August now in the history books – all that’s left for you to do is choose your Player of the Month HERE.
The award is kindly sponsored by the Railway Arms, with the winner being announced tomorrow night.
