‘Players are technically very good’, says Cole

DARREN Cole admits he ‘couldn’t believe’ how good his new team-mates were technically after putting pen-to-paper on a deal at The Showgrounds…

The defender joined the Stripes after appearing as a Trialist in Saturday’s pre-season win against Ards and has impressed during training sessions with Oran Kearney’s side.

Cole discussed his career to date which included spells at Rangers, Livingston, Morton, Derry City, Glentoran and Dungannon Swifts.

He also revealed that he knows Dean Jarvis from his time at Derry and how he felt ‘relaxed’ after meeting Kearney for the first time.
