RUAIDHRI Higgins credited his players for digging in as the Bannsiders celebrated a derby day success against Ballymena United…

A first half effort from Will Patching separated the sides as Coleraine celebrated all three points on home soil.

Higgins reflected on two different halves as he praised the excellent performance in the first, whilst admitting the levels weren’t reached in the second.

However, he was pleased to register a clean sheet and shared his thoughts on the match winner as Wylie’s pass was on a plate for Patching.

Higgins was also full of praise for the support as more than 3000 supporters were present on the Ballycastle Road.
