U20’s manager Marty Smith is hoping that his players can ‘store’ the memories taken from their run to the North-West Senior Cup final…

Smith’s young guns struggled to contain the Mallards and succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at The Showgrounds.

Smith spoke about the run to the final, experience of playing in Europe but warned that they have to keep developing.

The U20’s boss discussed the arrivals of Ciaran O’Hara, Sean Carlin and Corey McLaughlin to his squad in January and how he thinks they’ll improve in the second-half of the season.

Smith also paid tribute to Luca Doherty who netted for NI Schoolboys against Jersey through the week.
