ORAN Kearney had mixed emotions after the Bannsiders’ scoreless draw against Glentoran at The Showgrounds last night…

Both teams cancelled each other out over 90 minutes of football as Coleraine missed the chance to leapfrog the Glens in the Sports Direct Premiership table.

The visitors missed three big chances to take the lead inside the first-half and Kearney believes his side created the problems for themselves.

Kearney said they addressed a few things at half-time and they looked a little bit more like themselves in the second-half, but they will have to take the point and move on.

The Stripes would create one big chance towards the end as Matthew Shevlin fired wide after good play by Davy McDaid and Jack O’Mahony, with Kearney believing the ball would hit the back of the net.

The boss also gave an update on Lyndon Kane who had to be subbed off before looking ahead to Friday night’s clash away to Larne.
