ASSISTANT head coach Michael O’Connor says the Bannsiders are expecting a tough encounter as they welcome Armagh City to The Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon…

The former Northern Ireland international reflected on Monday night’s 3-1 win at Loughgall and that they played really well in the second-half after falling behind to Conor McCloskey’s opener.

O’Connor also provided a squad update on several members of the squad, which included confirming that Alfie Gaston has returned to training after suffering a setback.

He further outlined how Armagh City are going to provide a threat on Saturday afternoon after the two teams squared off in pre-season action.

O’Connor says the club wants to win trophies on a regular basis and the Irish Cup presents the next opportunity to do that.
