DEAN Shiels spoke to Coleraine TV ahead of the Bannsiders’ trip to Glenavon on Saturday…

The head coach started the weekly press conference by commenting on last weekend’s 2-0 win against Portadown, which he labelled as “an impressive performance” as Ronan Doherty and Jamie Glackin got on the scoresheet.

Shiels acknowledged that Glenavon have really picked up in recent months since Paddy McLaughlin’s arrival and that there’s an added motivation in the Coleraine changing room to pick up all three points after a 3-3 draw at Mourneview Park earlier in the season.

Furthermore, he added that Dean Jarvis will return to the squad after completing a two-match suspension, as well giving a update of members of the first-team panel.
