Quality of goals, pleases OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney acknowledged that his side has now experienced both sides of Friday night football after last night’s success against Dungannon Swifts…

The Bannsiders had lost their game of the season last Friday against Glenavon but put in a much better performance at Stangmore Park to run out 5-0 victors.

Kearney admitted he looked for a response from his players and made a few changes to his starting line-up as Gareth Deane, Adam Mullan, Conor McKendry and Aaron Jarvis were introduced.

Jamie Glackin would prove to be a tormentor in chief and Kearney revealed that he has that in the locker and commented on his side’s high press in the first-half.

The boss also spoke about a second clean sheet of the campaign and he was glad to see his players restrict the Swifts to very few chances.
