Quiz raises over £380

THE coaches of this year’s SuperCup NI squad would like to thank those who recently attended a quiz at Joey’s Bar in Ballymoney…

A total of nine teams entered the quiz which was won by website team members Stevie Crawford, Aaron O’Neill, Johnny McNabb and Coleraine Chronicle Sports Editor, Damian Mullan.

The quiz and raffle raised over £380 which will go towards the Bannsiders’ participation in this year’s SuperCup NI tournament which takes place at the end of July.

The coaches would like to place on record their thanks to those who entered, to Joey’s Bar for hosting the quiz and Gerry for being a brilliant quiz master.

The Bannsiders were drawn in Group C alongside Glentoran FC, Bertie Peacock Youth and Global Premier Soccer (America), with the tournament getting underway during the last week of July.
