RUAIDHRI Higgins says the Bannsiders completed their mission by reaching the semi-final of the BetMcLean Cup…

Coleraine were victorious in last night’s quarter-final as goals from Alex Watson and Will Patching sealed a 2-0 success at Moyola Park.

Higgins says it was important that he used his squad in light of a busy schedule as seven changes were made to his starting eleven, as well as how his side could have been better in certain aspects.

He further commented on both goals and paid special praise in particular to Patching, who he claimed was the best player on the pitch.

Coleraine will face Glentoran away from home in the semi-final early next year but Higgins says that contest will be put to the back burner for now.
