Result delights McLaughlin

JAMES McLaughlin spoke to Coleraine TV after his header was enough to seal all three points against Crusaders at Seaview…

The striker insists he was “delighted” with the final score as Coleraine extended the gap in second place to four points with the narrow win in North Belfast.

McLaughlin and Curtis Allen were both introduced from the bench on the hour mark and it would be latter’s cross which would tee up the Mosside man to head home on 63 minutes.

The Bannsiders are not in action until May 25 and McLaughlin insists it will be great to get further training in the tank ahead of back-to-back matches against Linfield and Larne.
