COLERAINE FC will be involved in tomorrow’s second qualifying round draw for the Conference League and here’s everything you need to know…
The Bannsiders will return to European competition for the first time since 2021, with our Irish Cup success last month propelling the Bannsiders into the second qualifying round of the Conference League.
Due to our co-efficient, we will be unseeded for this stage of the draw, with supporters being able to see our potential opponents HERE.
On Wednesday morning (June 17) at 7.30am, UEFA will group all teams and our potential opponents will be narrowed down to five. These will be communicated to our supporters once they are known.
The draw will be streamed live on the UEFA website.
The location of the first leg, as in will we play at home or away, will also be determined in the draw. The first team out of the hat will play at home in the first leg. Please note, however, this could be subject to change in the scenario of teams from the same area playing in European competition at the same time.
The first legs are due to be held on 23 July with the returns on 30 July; confirmed fixture dates and kick-off times will be announced following the draw. We strongly advise supporters not to book any travelling arrangements until official confirmation is in place.
The Bannsiders will also be involved in the third qualifying round draw on Monday, July 20.
