WE’RE thrilled to announce a delicious new addition to The Showgrounds – our brand-new on-site caterer, Phat Events…

Starting from this Sunday’s clash against Larne, home and away supporters can be fed and watered by enjoying a fresh and flavourful menu right on the grounds.

It marks the latest chapter in Phat Events’ involvement with local football after having a cart at Larne FC matches last season.

Their other business assets include Phat Pizza and Chipmongers in Portstewart, as well as a coffee shop in the seaside town.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A three-trailer set-up will be positioned inside the ground, allowing home supporters to purchase either from the main food truck, a middle gazebo selling sweets, or those who are looking for some hot drinks, i.e. tea and coffee.
  • A coffee cart will be in the same position as last season between the Railway End and far side.
  • A hot food truck will also be in position for away fans.
  • Home fans in the Club 1927 Lounge or in the Directors Box can place an order by scanning a QR code – which will be provided – and their orders will be delivered straight to their seat. (MENU for Club 1927/Directors Box only)
  • Furthermore, those situated in the upstairs viewing gallery in the Social Club can purchase a chicken curry and chips or a burger.

Speaking about the partnership, Gareth Montgomery of Phat Events, said: “We’re really looking forward to working alongside Coleraine FC.

“We were really keen to get involved and after listening to Henry’s plans to modernise and professionalise the matchday experience, it suits what we are trying to do.

“Coleraine FC is on our doorstep and we have supporters regularly visiting our businesses in Portstewart – so they will know the high quality of food that we provide.

“The current plans are just the start as there’s so much more we want to do.”
