CONGRATULATIONS to Matthew Shevlin who has won the August Goal of the Month competition…

The striker topped the vote ahead of Conor McKendry, Andy Mitchell and Darren Cole to net the award.

Shevlin’s goal finished off a fine team goal as numerous passes led to McKendry’s cross being slammed home by the 24-year-old.

Matthew will be presented with his award by sponsor Clement Dealey Photography in due course.
