MATTHEW Shevlin said his hat-trick at Carrick Rangers yesterday afternoon wouldn’t have been possible without the support of his team-mates…

The marksman made it 18 goals for the season as his treble of goals in extra-time helped the Bannsiders to a 4-1 win at Taylors Avenue.

Shevlin thanked his team-mates for their contributions in making his hat-trick possible and how it is the quickest treble of his career.

The 27-year-old remarked how it was great to make an impact after being used from the bench and how he wants to keep pushing on personally and achieve something as a team.
