The 22-year-old has made the decision to make the move to The Showgrounds following a spell with Linfield.

The ex-Ballymena United man admits he is making up for lost time after limited appearances at Windsor Park, as well as hoping to learn from the likes of Eoin Bradley, James McLaughlin and Curtis Allen.

Bannsiders boss Oran Kearney remarked that he has followed Shevlin’s progress throughout his career and believes his attributes will be a major asset.
