MATTHEW Shevlin scored his 100th goal in Coleraine colours on Tuesday night and here’s a complete lowdown of his achievement…

After bagging against Linfield through the week, the striker became only the 12th player to reach the three-figure mark for Coleraine in the club’s history.

Shevlin joined the club in the 2021 January transfer window from Linfield and made his debut against Dungannon Swifts on January 23 of that year.

He reached the landmark goal return in 193 appearances across all competitions.

56 of the goals have been scored at home, with 44 away from home. Of the 100 goals, 33 were netted in the first-half with the other 67 coming after the break.

Three hat-tricks have been scored in that time and Matthew has also contributed 31 assists.

In the 2020/21 campaign, Matthew netted four times in the Premiership.

A year later, he managed to score 13 goals in the Premiership, one in the Irish Cup, seven in the BetMcLean Cup and one in the Europa League.

2022/23 proved to be a fruitful one as Matthew scored 23 times in the Premiership, one in the Irish Cup, four in the BetMcLean Cup, and one in the Europa League Conference play-off.

Last season, Matthew netted 20 times in the Premiership, one in the Irish Cup and three in the BetMcLean Cup.

So far during the current season, Matthew has bagged seven goals in the Premiership and one in the North-West Senior Cup.
