DEAN Shiels says the quality of the attacking players at his disposal helped the Bannsiders pick up all three points against Dungannon Swifts at The Showgrounds…

Coleraine moved up to fourth in the Premiership standings after a 3-2 success against the Swifts as Jamie Glackin netted a last-gasp winner.

Shiels commented on the fast start made by his squad as they found themselves two goals ahead inside ten minutes, but then he acknowledged that they didn’t know whether to “stick or twist” after John McGovern halved the arrears.

The Swifts found an equaliser through Adam Glenny just after the hour mark but Shiels remarked that his side managed to find a way to win the game through Glackin’s eye-catching effort.

Shiels further outlined how they want to end the season strongly and how Glackin produces similar quality moments in training.

The head coach also heaped praise on Aidan Tejada, Sam McClintock and Senan Devine who all started in Northern Ireland’s 3-3 draw against Scotland in the Centenary Shield.
