Skinner ‘buzzing’ to be back

MICHAEL Anderson speaks to striker Eoin Bradley after reaching 50 goals for the Bannsiders…

Eoin Bradley scored his 50th goal in Coleraine colours in the last outing against Carrick Rangers.

What fans didn’t know is that the big striker has been battling through the pain barrier in previous matches with a broken toe!

“The Carrick match when I came on was the first time in three months where I felt pain free,” revealed Skinner.

“I’ve been playing with a broken toe and swallowing pain killers before each match.

“The injury effected my form but I didn’t want to miss out.

“I felt I played well when I came on last time out and it was nice to reach the 50 goal milestone.”

Bradley hopes he has done enough to earn a starting slot when the action resumes against Dungannon Swifts on Saturday.

“There’s plenty of competition for places, especially with Matthew (Shevlin) coming in but that’s the way it should be.

“Dungannon is never easy but we are at home so it’s a game we believe we should win.

“We’ve win four on the bounce coming into it. We have had a week and a half off to recharge the batteries and we’re buzzing to get back playing again.”
