The games continue to come thick and fast.

Following on from Tuesday’s excellent 2-1 win at Larne, it’s the challenge from the Crues next.

“They are two different styles but although they can be direct, Crusaders are still an attacking side,” said the Showgrounds skipper.

“We should have drawn the last time we played them but for switching off at a setpiece but we had no excuses.

“It’s been a big week for us and overall we have been in good form.”

Win, lose or draw, O’Donnell insists the players will remain focused.

“Oran’s management is very good when it comes to that,” he added.

“He tells us not to get too low when we are on a bad run and also not to get too high off the back of our recent improved run.”

And the Coleraine captain is hoping for another three points to catapult the team back into the top places in the table.

“We went to Larne knowing we were in good form.

“We didn’t cope well last time we played them but we are in a much better place now, both individually and as a group.

“If you can string a few wins together you soon climb the table.

“Another few victories will have us where we want to be up amongst the challengers.”
