COLERAINE FC can today announce the introduction of our new Supporter Liaison Officer team…
Jonny Keys, Lewis Dobbin, Tim Thorpe, Robert Nethrey and Lee Chestnut will form the team that will work with the club and supporters to improve communication and engagement during this exciting period for the club.
With the new SLO Team now in situ, this will see the introduction of new ways for supporters to engage with the club as the SLO’s have their own direct email address – SLO@colerainefc.com as well as their own social media channels on Facebook and X.
The Team will be focusing on engaging with our existing supporters groups and building strong relations within those groups to work proactively on behalf of the club. Across the upcoming year, the SLO’s will also run focus group events to discuss different topics with supporters from across a wide demographic and begin to filter feedback and information in to the club through regular meetings with the CEO.
We wish the five gentlemen every success in their new voluntary roles and look forward to working closely with them.
On the announcement, Dale Pryde-MacDonald, CEO, said: “This is a significant step forward for us in terms of engagement. A large part of what we want to achieve here is pulling everybody together and being ‘joined up’ in what we do. That means the views of our supporters and our engagement with our supporters has to be at the forefront of what we do.
“We have a really strong fanbase here that is growing. Nobody has all the answers so hopefully by bringing more people together we can generate more ideas, suggestions and ways that we can improve the football club and our community. Jonny, Lewis, Robert, Tim and Lee have all shown great enthusiasm, and I have enjoyed the time I have spent with them individually getting to know them and they will be invaluable to us moving forward.”
