Slow start cost us – Kane

COLERAINE defender Lyndon Kane lamented his side’s poor start as they were held to a goalless draw at The Showgrounds…

The Bannsiders were largely second best in the first-half but responded after the break as they twice hit the woodwork.

Kane remarked that it was a ‘game of two halves’ but knows that he and his team-mates will have to start games better if they want to pick up all three points.

The full-back thought they were going to collect all three points after a strong second-half performance but felt the ‘writing was on the wall’ after Eoin Bradley and Stewart Nixon were both denied by the upright.

Kane missed the midweek win against Larne due to ‘a scare’ in his foot but thankfully is feeling good and looks ahead to a massive fixture versus Linfield this Wednesday evening.
