RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after the Bannsiders were eliminated from the BetMcLean Cup after an extra-time loss to Glentoran…

A goal from Jordan Jenkins three minutes into extra-time proved to be the difference in a 2-1 success for the hosts.

Higgins stated that it was a “disappointing” outcome for his side and they were punished for two lapses in concentration at the back – despite feeling they were the team in the ascendancy for large spells of the game.

The gaffer also outlined how he had no complaints with his side’s efforts and how they quickly need to respond ahead of this weekend’s Irish Cup tie at Carrick Rangers.
