RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV after the Bannsiders’ victory against Glenavon at The Showgrounds…

Goals from Joel Cooper and Jamie McGonigle guided Higgins’ men to a 2-0 success against the Lurgan Blues.

Higgins stated that whilst his side’s performance wasn’t their very best, it was important that they were able to collect all three points.

The gaffer also commented on the two goals his side scored as Zane Okoro provided the assist for Cooper’s opener, with McGonigle then on hand to finish off a fine team move involving Dylan Boyle and Dean Jarvis.

Higgins was also pleased to see his squad register a clean sheet and previewed Wednesday night’s BetMcLean Cup tie at Glentoran.
