CONGRATULATIONS to Scott Smyth who has been named the NIFL winner of TicketCo’s Ticketing Manager of the Year Awards 2026…

At Coleraine FC, Scott is widely regarded for his patience, positive approach, and willingness to support those around him. He has played an important role in the club’s ticketing activity, with an influence that extends well beyond his core responsibilities.

When new systems were introduced, Scott guided colleagues through them with clarity and care, taking the time to explain processes and answer questions. His readiness to share his time and knowledge has earned him the respect of colleagues across the club.

Now in its second year, the awards determine winners through a two-stage process: nominations submitted by club leaders are reviewed and scored by an independent expert panel, and the resulting shortlist is then put to a public vote by fans, colleagues, and the wider sporting community.

Scott’s recognition follows strong engagement across all shortlisted candidates, with the NIFL category making its debut in 2026.

The Ticketing Manager of the Year Awards were created to recognise contributions of this kind; the individuals who keep clubs running and support the matchday experience, often without public recognition.

“This is tremendous recognition for Scott, who gives so much of his time and energy to the club,” said Chief Executive Officer at Coleraine FC, Dale Pryde-MacDonald.

“We are delighted to see Scott receive this award. It is thoroughly merited, not only for the work he does, but for the person he is.

“Scott not only dedicates countless hours to the Club Shop and ticketing, but he consistently puts everybody else first. We are extremely fortunate to have someone as dedicated, loyal and passionate as Scott at Coleraine Football Club.

“It would also be remiss not to acknowledge and thank Scott’s family, who give him such tremendous support and put up with the relentless hours he devotes to Coleraine FC work – at home, on holidays and during special occasions.”
