CONGRATULATIONS to Matthew Shevlin who has been named as the Fibrus Coleraine FC Player of the Month for January…

The striker edged out Dean Jarvis, Josh Carson and Conor McKendry to make it back-to-back Player of the Month accolades and his third in total.

Shevlin netted in the Irish Cup tie against Loughgall and in the Premiership against Portadown at the start of the month.

Furthermore, the 24-year-old would bag a brace in the 2-2 draw away to Cliftonville, as well as the solitary goal in a hard fought win against Carrick Rangers.

Shevlin would take his tally to 50 Coleraine goals last weekend after netting twice in the 3-0 win away at Dungannon Swifts.
