COLERAINE FC would like to take the opportunity to congratulate The Budget Energy SuperCup NI Directors and Tournament Management Team on a fantastic week held across the area…
Across the week a new SuperCup NI attendance record was set at the Coleraine Showgrounds of 14,165. This is a remarkable achievement and only possible through the hard work and collaboration of the club staff and Tournament Management Team.
In addition, we were able to welcome famous faces from the world of football across the week including Manchester United legends Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick as well as Gareth McAuley who opened the tournament this year. The reach and exposure that our guests generated for the club was incredible and reached a vast number of people around the world.
Congratulations to all the teams from around the globe who competed and we look forward to working with SuperCup NI on the 2026 tournament with just under a year to go.
General Manager, Dale Pryde-MacDonald said “With it only being my second week in the job it was very much an eye-opener for me. However I have to pay massive tribute to our staff here for their hard work and dedication as well as the Tournament Management Team who made the whole week seamless.
“The exposure that the club has had is fantastic, it’s my first time at the Super Cup so it was a new experience and there are so many opportunities to explore together and I look forward to working with Super Cup moving forward.
“The turnout at our stadium was tremendous, it shows the appeal the tournament has and collectively we can all work together to build on it for next year and beyond. My personal thanks to Victor Leonard and his team for their support and congratulations to them on a fantastic tournament.”
