HEAD coach Dean Shiels praised the collective team effort by his squad as they sealed a 5-0 Irish Cup victory against Armagh City at The Showgrounds…

Coleraine progressed through to the sixth round of the competition as an own goal, added to efforts from Dylan Boyle, Matthew Shevlin, Kirk McLaughlin and Kyle Spence.

Shiels said he knew it was going to be difficult against an Armagh side who have already beaten top-flight opposition in other cup competitions this season.

The head coach acknowledged the fast start made by his start as they took the lead inside the opening two minutes, as well as saying there is a bit of a momentum gathered as they’ve netted ten times in their last three games.

Shiels praised the impact made by his substitutes ahead of next weekend’s trip to Glenavon.
