COLERAINE FC would like to extend its sincere thanks to Michael Doherty, who departs his role as Goalkeeping Coach after an invaluable spell with the club…
After two stints as a player – which yielded 136 appearances – ‘Doc’ was appointed Goalkeeping Coach ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
Michael brought great professionalism, dedication, and experience to our backroom staff, helping develop and mentor our goalkeepers at all levels – particularly within the Academy.
His time on the backroom staff yielded an Irish Cup in 2018, the League Cup in 2020, plus so many other precious memories in domestic and European competition.
Everyone at the club wishes Michael all the very best in his next chapter, and he will always be welcome at The Showgrounds.
