The shot-stopper has agreed terms on a multi-year deal and spoke of his excitement at joining the Bannsiders after conversations with Head of Goalkeeping, Michael Dougherty.

Schofield discussed making his debut for his boyhood club Huddersfield Town and how he has had conversations with players who have featured in the Irish League.

The Englishman said that he will give 100% both on and off the pitch and spoke of his desire to help the Bannsiders be successful.
