COLERAINE manager Ruaidhri Higgins believes his side showed a different way of winning matches after yesterday’s 2-1 success at home to Carrick Rangers…

After falling behind to Ryan Waide’s opener, Coleraine showed their powers of recovery as Zane Okoro and Joel Cooper netted either side of half-time to record all three points.

Higgins conceded that winning was the most important thing after suffering a defeat to Glentoran last time out – even though the performance might not have reached the heights of other games.

The manager commented on the two goals, having to dig deep to keep Carrick at bay late on, as well as praising the opposition.

Coleraine were without captain Lyndon Kane due to a knock and Higgins stated he doesn’t think the issue will be a long-term one.
