“The players have been superb” – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney spoke to the club’s media channel after yesterday’s win against Ballymena United…

The Bannsiders remained on the coat tails of Glentoran and Linfield as goals from Aaron Traynor and Stephen Lowry was enough to edge out Ballymena United.

Kearney highlighted the win as “vitally important” and was pleased to see the game out after a “helter skelter” last ten minutes after Ross Redman halved the deficit.

The boss complimented the composure of both goals and praised his players for their contribution after 33 games were played.

The Irish Cup is next on the agenda as Crusaders make their way to the Ballycastle Road and Kearney is hoping to add another Cup memory to the list.
