There was a buzz at training: Farren

KIERAN Farren admits the Bannsiders had taken the positives out of their recent two defeats prior to yesterday’s success against Crusaders…

Coleraine lost back-to-back games against Ballymena United and Cliftonville but the performance, especially in the latter fixture, gave reasons to be optimistic and that would prove to be the case as Oran Kearney’s men left Seaview with all three points.

Farren alluded to a buzz at training throughout the week despite losing two games in a row but knew if Coleraine were ruthless in front of goal they would give themselves every chance of securing a positive result.

The defender also acknowledged the importance of gaining a clean sheet and how he is training hard to remain as fit as possible after suffering a couple of knocks so far this season.

Ahead of the BetMcLean Cup tie against Ballymena United on Tuesday night, Farren remarked that the squad will treat that game like they do any other.
