WHILST pleased to pick up a win at Glenavon, boss Ruaidhri Higgins was less enthused by his side’s second-half performance at Mourneview Park…

The Bannsiders left the County Armagh with all three points as Matthew Shevlin bagged a late winner.

Prior to that, Coleraine deservedly held a half-time advantage through Adam Long’s debut goal but Higgins stated that the second-half “wasn’t good enough” as Paul McGovern levelled matters on 71 minutes.

The Lurgan Blues were reduced to ten men with around 15 minutes remaining and Higgins credited his team’s patience as Kane’s pin-point cross was guided into the net by Shevlin.

Higgins also provided an injury update on Charles Dunne and Levi Ives who both had to be substituted, as well as praising the away fans for their backing throughout the 90 minutes.
