Three points in the bag, pleases Kearney

ORAN Kearney believes his side don’t have the points to show for their performance levels so far this season…

The Coleraine chief made the comments after watching the Bannsiders beat Newry City at The Showgrounds as Josh Carson, Matthew Shevlin and Andy Mitchell all got on the scoresheet.

Kearney remarked how difficult the league is and that was epitomised by how hard Newry City worked and believes his side have played better and not won during the current campaign.

Kearney also spoke about Jamie Glackin’s individual performance as the midfielder provided two assists and provided an injury update on Gareth Deane.

As Coleraine face Glentoran next, Kearney added that it was important travelling to The Oval with a bit of added confidence.
