Toilet Block Grant

COLERAINE Football Club is delighted to announce that it has secured £29,750 in funding from Sport NI towards the development of a new toilet block for home fans...

This significant addition to the club’s facilities is aimed at enhancing the match day experience for the growing numbers of female and family spectators who attend our games.

The construction work for this much-anticipated project is set to commence this week, with the completion of the new amenities expected in time for the highly anticipated Linfield game on the 16th of February.

This latest development aligns with the strategic plan adopted by Coleraine Football Club two years ago and underscores the club’s commitment to investing in its infrastructure. The total infrastructure investment now stands at an impressive £1.2 million.

Colin McKendry, Chairman of Coleraine Football Club, expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “We are a club deeply rooted in the heart of our community, and our fans are the lifeblood of the club. We have been working tirelessly to enhance their match day experience, and this new facility is a testament to that commitment.

“We are determined to continue improving our facilities, with the ultimate goal of unveiling a new stadium in time for our 100th anniversary in 2027.”

This latest development follows closely on the heels of the club’s recent success in securing £400,000 in funding from the IFA/DCMS for the construction of a new community pitch. The Development Committee, chaired by David Boyd, is currently in discussions with funders as the project moves towards the tendering phase.

Coleraine Football Club is grateful for the support of Sport NI, the IFA/DCMS, and all other stakeholders involved in these transformative projects. These investments mark significant milestones in the club’s ongoing journey to provide first-class facilities for its players, supporters, and the wider community.
