COLERAINE FC chairman Colin McKendry has paid the following tribute in relation to the sad passing of Adrian Teer…
The news of Adrian’s sad death was announced yesterday and he will be remembered as one of the longest serving and most influential administrators in the history of Glenavon.
Whilst being more known for his roles at his beloved Lurgan Blues, Adrian also served the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) with distinction as Chair of the Board of Directors from November 2013 to May 2018.
Furthermore, he provided leadership within the Irish Football Association and old Irish Football League at various stages.
Chairman Colin McKendry paid the following tribute to “a personal friend.”
“Adrian was a great servant to football in Northern Ireland, not only through his great work at Glenavon, but with NIFL and the IFA in his different roles,” he said.
“He was a personal friend and I shared many board rooms with Adrian. He will be sadly missed within football.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Adrian’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
