RUAIDHRI Higgins spoke to Coleraine TV ahead of the Bannsiders’ trip to Cliftonville on Saturday…

The gaffer started the interview by reflecting on the two-week break for his side but confirmed that his squad played a behind-closed-doors friendly against Limavady United on Tuesday night.

Higgins also revealed that midfielder Ronan Doherty and striker Jamie McGonigle have returned to full training after the pair had been sidelined in recent weeks due to injury.

It marks the second time this season that Coleraine will have travelled to Solitude and Higgins was full of appreciation for the Reds, who he believes are one of the best coached teams in the country.
