U15’s are spot-on

ALL four National League teams played on Saturday, with three playing cup quarter-final ties and the fourth in a top of the table league battle…

The Under 12 team travelled to Cookstown and won comfortably against a strong Portadown team. The kids now look forward to a plate semi-final against Ballymena United.

The Under 13 had a difficult League Cup quarter-final away to Rosario. Despite taking an early lead, the kids had an unusual off day, which included a missed penalty. The kids eagerly await a return fixture with Rosario in the cup quarter-final in a few weeks.

The under 14 kids travelled to play a league cup match against Greenisland. In a hard-fought game the kids narrowly lost out.

The under 15 team also had a cup quarter-final under lights in Belfast on Friday night. Playing against a strong Shankill team, in front of a big crowd the kids were not overawed. With the game at 1-1 after extra time, the kids held their nerve to win the penalty shoot-out and go through to a semi-final against either Linfield or Ballymena. These kids remain unbeaten all season and have bagged over 110 goals, conceding only 12 in reply. A credit to all involved.

Coleraine FC Under 12 3-0 Portadown Youth
Coleraine FC Under 13 2-5 Rosario
Coleraine FC Under 14 2-4 Greenisland
