‘We didn’t do our jobs’ – OK

ORAN Kearney believes the goals his side conceded against Crusaders were ‘bread and butter stuff’ after they were beaten 3-1 in north Belfast…

The Bannsiders went 1-0 ahead at the break as Michael McCrudden netted from the spot, which Kearney believed his side deserved after playing with the wind at Seaview.

However, the Crues would respond in the second-half and netted three times with the boss lamenting ‘basics job’ not being carried out by his side.

Kearney also shared his doubts about the decision to award Crusaders a penalty but paid tribute to 16-year-old Senan Devine who made his league debut.

The boss is hopeful of having several players back to his disposal ahead of Saturday’s visit of Linfield.
