‘We don’t look backwards’ – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney cut a delighted figure as his side registered all three points against Crusaders at The Showgrounds…

A first-half header from Matthew Shevlin had the Bannsiders well on their way before Aaron Jarvis drilled home an unstoppable effort just before the hour mark to make it a perfect evening for Kearney’s men.

The boss insists his players don’t count how many games they are unbeaten but simply take each fixture as it comes and spoke about how impressive the performance was by those in blue and white.

Kearney was delighted to see Shevlin get his maiden goal for the club, as well as praising Jarvis for his recent contributions against Portadown and Crusaders.

The Stripes were able to call on the services of Aaron Traynor and Stephen O’Donnell who started the fixture following injury, with James McLaughlin an unused substitute and Kearney admits it was ‘nice’ to have a nearly full fit squad at his disposal.
