“We never quit” – OK

COLERAINE boss Oran Kearney credited his players for leaving everything on the pitch as they reached the BetMcLean Cup final…

The Bannsiders would fall behind twice but came back to take the game to penalties, where they held their nerve to come out 5-4 victors after spot kicks.

Kearney was full of praise for how his side battled throughout the 120 minutes for not quitting and remarked a swagger in Matthew Shevlin’s performances of late as the striker made it 16 goals for the campaign.

A strong vocal crowd was also highlighted by the boss who said it reminded him of the atmosphere from previous years and he spoke about Friday night’s visit of Crusaders.
