Young guns challenged to seek North-West Cup glory

The Bannsiders made it through to the final as they beat Moyola Park 3-2 after extra-time as Steven Douglas’ late strike separated the sides on the Ballycastle Road. As for Stute, they progressed after beating Limavady United on penalty kicks.

Coleraine manager Oran Kearney will be resting many of his players but the likes of Michael Doherty, Gareth McConaghie, Steven Douglas, Scot Whiteside, Matthew Kirk, David Kee are expected to play. Meanwhile, midfielder Martin Smith is poised to make his debut after receiving international clearance.

Admission has been set for £6 adults and £4 concessions with supporters able to pay at the gate. Coleraine FC have decided that they will donate their share of the gate to help Institute restore their ground.

Supporters are reminded that the club shop will be open during tomorrow night’s game, as well as on Friday night until 9pm to top-up matchday cards for this weekend’s clash against Glentoran. The club ask fans to keep hold of their matchday cards and not discard them as they can be reused.
