Youths Awards

COLERAINE Youths held their first annual Awards Day at The Showgrounds on Saturday 21st May…

The event was a day for celebration and a wonderful way to mark the end of the first competitive season. Thanks to our main sponsor Bob & Berts who kindly donated refreshments for the event.

It was fantastic to see kids, coaches and lots of families loving the bouncy castles, playing football on the main pitch and enjoying the food provided. The Committee should be extremely proud of the seamless way the day was organised and everyone left with a smile on their face. Over a thousand people attended the Awards Day and it was fantastic to see so many families enjoying some leisure time in The Showgrounds.

The kids and families in the Youths are at the centre of the club and days like the Awards Day really connect the club to the heart of the community.

The Youths Committee want to pay special thanks to the guests who made the effort to attend. The guests ranged from first-team manager, senior Academy Director, President, both Vice-Presidents, senior Board, players and Benny the Bannsider were all in attendance to help with the presentation of the kids awards.

The girls awards were presented by the IFA Chief Executive of Ladies Football, Angela Platt.

The Junior Academy Director would like to thank the Committee for their continued support in ensuring the kids are at the centre of the Youths.
